Explore our recreated 1920s village, made up of heritage and replica buildings. Connect with interpreters throughout the site and learn the diverse history of Burnaby’s communities since time immemorial. Spread across 10-acres, the Burnaby Village Museum invites visitors to join a community of learners sharing history through collaboration, participation, and discovery.
Watch demonstrations at the forge in Wagner’s Blacksmith Shop, learn from Indigenous Educators in the Indigenous Learning House and explore a Chinese herbalist at Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee Herbalist. Step inside the 1893 Love Farmhouse to learn about life on a family farm, climb aboard the 1912 interurban tram and take a ride on the restored 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel.
Burnaby Village Museum is open seasonally. Free admission during spring, summer and Christmas openings.
