Murder is a Drag

Musical murder mystery shows in a mysterious theatre located inside the historic Woodwards Building on the edge of Gastown. The suspects reveal clues with killer drag performances and there are also puzzles to solve - can you guess whodunit? Murder is a Drag returns in September with Chapter 2: Wake the Dead.

This show takes place at the funeral for local millionaire Shawn Nessy but be prepared for tears of laughter when the drama starts to unfold. Interact with the suspects, solve a puzzle, collect clues and help our detective solve the murder! There are four different Murder is a Drag shows (so far!) – each one is a different chapter in the show series. They are standalone shows (you don’t need to see them in any particular order).

Check your tickets or your booking confirmation for timing and plan to arrive early to: check in, get seated, place your orders and possibly be given special role assignments. Seating is first come, first serve – smaller groups may also be seated at a shared table with other groups. 90-minute murder mystery experience (with two intermissions)

Performances – the cast is entirely made up of drag performers from our Murder is a Drag Ensemble – the three suspects and the detective in this murder mystery are drag performers and they will also perform songs!
