Dedicated to education and conservation, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is home to many rescued, donated and orphaned animals. The mission of the Greater Vancouver Zoo is to inspire appreciation of our ecosystems and support conservation efforts by engaging the community.

Zoo Policies:

  • Please do not touch, chase, or feed the animals.
  • Please do not yell or throw objects at the animals.
  • No drones, balloons, or confetti are permitted onsite.
  • Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted, but water bottles are welcome.
  • Stay safe and do not climb fences or bypass barriers.
  • The zoo is a smoke-free and vape-free space.
  • No motorized equipment. Electric mobility aids are welcome (max speed: 7 km/h).
  • Pets need to stay home, but service animals are welcome with 24-hour prior approval.
  • Please keep an eye on your belongings—we’re not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Be kind, respect staff, and follow instructions for a great zoo experience!

By Car: 
If taking Highway 1, take Exit #73. We are 1.4km south on the left side.

If taking Fraser Highway, we are 3.7km north on 264th Street (Aldergrove-Bellingham Highway 13) on the right side.
