Established in 1998, Vancouver Whale Watch is the original whale watching company in Vancouver. Departing from the charming historic fishing village of Steveston, every year we welcome visitors locally and from around the world.

Travelling through the spectacular Gulf Islands and the Strait of Georgia, our tours are 3 up to 5 hours long, depending on how far we have to travel to find whales. Our guests can discover magnificent and breathtaking Humpback Whales and Transient Orcas in their natural habitat. Our professional wildlife guides onboard are well educated on marine mammals, local flora and fauna, waterways and surrounding islands; transforming our fleet of zodiacs into floating classrooms and educating the public about conservation of marine wildlife.

GUARANTEE: We have a 98% sighting success rate. Should you not see a whale you can come again for free until you do – for life, no expiry.

Both your Vancouver Attractions ticket, and your confirmation from Vancouver Whale Watch will be REQUIRED to gain admission. Failure to pre-book may result in not being able to attend a tour date and time of your choosing. No refunds will be provided.

Shuttle service is available from Vancouver and Richmond directly with Vancouver Whale Watch when you call for availability at an additional cost. Pre-reservations are required for this service.
