Start with a stop at the National Historic Site, Britannia Mine Museum. This 10-acre interactive museum explores the remains of a copper mine, and its community, that was once the largest in the British Empire. Your ticket includes an underground tour an opportunity to pan for gold and an immersive, live action show, BOOM! This 4D experience is set in the recently renovated Mill Building.
Just a few more minutes along the highway is the Sea to Sky Gondola. Enjoy a unique perspective of the nearby mountain town of Squamish and the surrounding alpine scenery as you glide 880m to the Alpine summit. Once on top you can explore the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, Via Ferrata (additional cost) climbing experience, Alpine Alley, a kids only nature walk, plus many accessible walking and hiking paths that take you to viewing platforms that deliver breathtaking views of the coastal fjords and surrounding mountains.
